Brazilian attacking midfielder Fàbio Gama who recently ended his marriage with Ghanaian club, Asante Kotoko has spoken about a purported interview he is claimed to have made on Botafogo Radio in Radio.
In the said interview the former Asante Kotoko kingpin is said to have revealed an unusual culture in the club’s dressing room ahead of games.
“There was a lot to get used to at Asante Kotoko. One of the most interesting things was the role of Juju. In the changing room before the game‚ the jujuman will place a stick at the entrance, All the players had to jump back and forth over the stick. They told us it’s the team culture, i was surprised to see that. Very unusual to me..!!”
The midfielder who is set to join Bahraini side Al Muharraq per local reports has however denied granting the interview claiming it’s sources as fake!
Gama had this to say on his social media handle, “Hey guys, I just want to clarify that this news that came out about me is all a lie, it’s all fake, they are not serious and also not professional, I haven’t given any interviews to anyone since I left Kotoko, don’t believe it, it’s all a lie”
The Brazilian who will be remembered for his intelligent movement on and off the ball, spent two seasons in Ghana fetching 5 goals in 48 league goals.
